Online Anxiety Therapy for Women in Jacksonville and Throughout Florida
Life today moves fast, and the pressure to ‘keep it together’ is real. For millennial women, anxiety often comes with unique pressures—balancing careers, relationships, self-expectations, and everything in between. But you don’t have to navigate it alone—online therapy gives you the tools to find relief.
Take Back Control with Anxiety Therapy Designed for Women
Maybe you’ve been holding it all together for so long that you don’t even remember what it feels like to truly relax. It’s time to take back control. Anxiety therapy gives you a space where you can feel seen and heard without judgment, a place to explore the underlying causes of your anxiety. While some anxiety is a natural part of life, our goal is to help you feel in control so it doesn’t dictate your daily experiences. Together, we'll identify patterns and triggers, equipping you with practical tools to manage anxiety and discover ways to gently break free from these cycles.
Anxiety Looks Different For Every Woman
But there are signs! If you’re tired of dealing with:
Feeling restless, overwhelmed, or unable to relax
Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up still feeling exhausted
Never being able to ‘turn off’ thoughts about work or your to-do list
Feeling unusually irritable or snapping at others, even when patience is usually a strength.
Avoiding everyday situations that feel overwhelming, like cleaning or responding to texts
Tense shoulders, neck and jaw. Headaches, or digestive issues
Replaying conversations in your head to analyze the outcomes or other’s responses
Self-doubt or perfectionism
Then you are likely one of the 19% of women dealing with anxiety. And there is help. Therapy for anxiety can help you regain balance and peace of mind.
What to expect from online anxiety therapy
I chose to focus on online anxiety therapy for women because I know how busy your life gets. You want to feel better now, but if therapy can’t fit in your Google calendar - it might as well not exist. So, together we’ll have 50-minute sessions that focus on helping you regain control over these anxious thoughts and emotions that are gripping your mind. We’ll start by identifying the triggers and patterns that contribute to your anxiety. Gaining this awareness is the first step toward making lasting changes.
You'll also learn practical grounding techniques like deep breathing, visualization, and mindfulness strategies to help you feel calmer in stressful moments. Because it’s one thing to walk out of our sessions feeling better, my goal is to give you the tools to feel better in your everyday life.
Anxiety isn’t just ‘in your head’
It can be fueled by different factors, including:
High-pressure careers and burnout
Academic stress and performance pressure
Social media comparison, lifestyle, and self-doubt
Past trauma or unresolved experiences
Chronic lack of sleep or overcommitment
Major life transitions, like moving or job changes
Aging parents, relationships, and (even though you love them) raising small children and teens
Understanding what contributes to your anxiety is the first step to managing it.
Let’s Help You Build Boundaries & Self-Care Routines That Actually Work
For many women and teen girls, anxiety is linked to people-pleasing, perfectionism, and the pressure to meet others’ expectations. Therapy provides a space to work on setting healthy boundaries, protecting your time and energy, and prioritizing your own well-being.
You'll also build a sustainable self-care routine that fits your lifestyle. When sleep, exercise, and meaningful activities become regular parts of your life, they create a strong foundation that helps reduce anxiety over time.

Have some questions first?
-
Anxiety looks different for everyone, but some common signs include constant worry, overthinking, trouble sleeping, feeling on edge, or physical symptoms like a racing heart or upset stomach. You might feel overwhelmed by everyday situations or find it hard to relax, even when nothing is wrong.
If you are wondering whether you have anxiety, therapy can help you understand what you are experiencing and give you tools to manage it. You do not have to figure it out alone, and support is available if you need it.
-
In your first session, we will start by getting to know each other. I’ll ask you about your background, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. This is a time for you to share your story and ask any questions you have about the process.
We will also discuss your goals for therapy and create a plan to guide our work together. My focus will be on making you feel comfortable and supported while taking the first steps toward healing. You can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you are heard and respected.
-
A typical therapy session lasts 50 minutes. However, if you feel you need more or less time, just let me know! I'm happy to adjust the session length to fit what works best for you and your needs.

No, you do not have to commit to a certain number of sessions. Therapy is a personal journey, and the number of sessions varies for each person. In the beginning, most clients attend counseling once a week or every other week to build momentum and see progress. Over time, as you gain insight and develop coping strategies, we can adjust the frequency of sessions based on your needs and goals. My priority is to create a space where you feel comfortable and supported, whether you're looking for short-term guidance or long-term healing.
-
The timeline for feeling less anxious varies from person to person. Some clients notice small improvements within a few sessions, while others take longer to experience significant relief. Factors like the severity of your anxiety, past experiences, and your willingness to practice new coping strategies outside of sessions all play a role.
-
Yes, I can help with panic attacks. I know how scary and overwhelming they can feel, but you are not alone.
