Yes, we accept Cigna, Aetna, Quest Behavioral Health, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Carelon Behavioral Health insurance.
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to use your benefits. I can provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

The standard fee for all clients for a 50-minute session is $130. I accept debit cards, credit cards, and health savings account cards. It is the policy of Something New Counseling and Wellness that the session fee is paid prior to the end of each session.

Yes, sliding scale spots are available on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in learning more about a sliding scale please feel free to ask about it during your free 15-minute phone consultation.

If you need to cancel a session please do so with at least 24-hours notice. Last minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee unless there is a medical emergency.

I work with clients ages 13 and older. Adolescents must have a parent or guardian's permission, including their signature on all consent forms. I require parents or guardians to be actively involved in their teen’s therapy, starting with the initial intake session and continuing as needed throughout treatment.

n the first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and explore your goals. It’s a chance to share your experiences and any challenges you’re facing. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and together we’ll decide on the best way to move forward.

This depends on your needs. Many clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and then transition to biweekly or monthly as they make progress.
